The cave of Salamanca

That’s the name given to the crypt of the old church of San Cebrian, demolished in the sixteenth century, but his fame comes from a legend.

The story tells that was the place where the devil himself taught necromancy to seven students for seven years.

One of them had to stay with him as payment for his teachings after that time. The student chose to escape from the devil, but lost his shadow and was marked that way.
