The palace built on the wall for a prosperous tannery merchant in the nineteenth century is the Museum of Art Nouveau and Art Deco since 1995.
The highlights of this unusual example of Modernist and industrial architecture in Salamanca are its indoor patio covered by a skylight and its rear facade made of steel and glass, with terraced gardens.
The collection on display, assembled by the antiquarian Manuel Ramos Andrade, include decorative elements designed by Fabergé, Lalique and Emile Gallé workshop.
